Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) — Tennessee has many famous attractions like the Great Smoky Mountains, but also many hidden gems like Burgess Falls.
“My waterfall joke is how many waterfalls there are in Tennessee, depending on how much rain it rains,” said Rob Barrett of the Tennessee Environmental Protection Agency.
According to Barrett, Burgess Falls is one of his favorites in terms of its history and how the community has come together to preserve it.
“The special thing about the waterfall is not only its breathtaking beauty from afar, but also the secret world of the waterfall and its surroundings that you can really learn and explore when you visit the state park,” Barrett said. Told.
