NKC Schools to provide transportation for Cerner COVID-19 vaccine event – Kansas City, Missouri

Kansas City, Missouri — North Kansas City School provides lifts for some residents to get their first COVID-19 vaccine.

The district announced on Sunday that it will provide a bus to and from 2800 Rock Creek Parkway, Selner’s North Kansas City Vaccine Site in Selner, Kansas City, Missouri, at 10 am on Monday as part of its Operations Safe.

The bus welcomes approximately 60 residents from The Gardens at Northgate on 3000 Swift Avenue in North Kansas City and approximately 20 residents from Destiny Towers on 4250 North Newton Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. ..

In a news release, Mike McKillen, director of transportation at NKC School, said he was honored to support the community in the district.

“Our school district has received a lot of support from our community during the pandemic and, using our resources, this is a great way to give back with a smile and transportation.” McCillen said.
