‘No one’s got it:’ ‘The View’ chaos sparked by false-positive COVID-19 test results, hosts say – Fresno, California

Fresno, California 2021-09-27 12:21:03 –

New York-The COVID-inspired confusion at The View on Friday certainly seems to be due to false-positive test results.

On Monday, host Joy Behar found that she and co-hosts Anna Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines had a number of COVID-19 tests and Friday’s results were “false positives.” Said.

“I’m excited to report that Sunny and Anna’s Friday results turned out to be false positives,” she said. “No one got it. It was a mistake.”

Navarro and Hostin were asked to leave the anchor desk in the middle of Friday’s live show, and the remaining anchors then explained that they were positive on the test.

The panelists were a bit away from introducing Vice President Kamala Harris to the show for a face-to-face interview at a studio in New York City.

Instead, Harris, who was scheduled to attend the table, was interviewed remotely from another room in the ABC building about 10 minutes before the show ended. “The View” invited her to come back.

On Monday, Behar thanked Harris for an interview under “exorbitant circumstances.”

“I would like to thank Vice President Harris and her wonderful team for working with us to make sure everyone is safe,” she said.

Harris did not interact with Hostin or Navarro before the show, according to White House officials. Both hosts are fully vaccinated, their colleagues said.
