NOLA Ready announces volunteer work to educate city residents about COVID-19 vaccine


NOLA Ready announced on Wednesday that it has thousands of volunteers in its neighborhood to help educate people about the COVID-19 vaccine. Volunteers encourage residents to vaccinate. According to NOLA Ready, materials such as posters, door hangers, and door-to-door visits will be implemented throughout the city to support this effort. Currently, NOLA Ready needs volunteers for recruitment activities. Click here to register to become a volunteer.

NOLA Ready will hold a joint press conference with the New Orleans Department of Land Security and Emergency Preparedness on Wednesday to discuss deploying thousands of volunteers in the neighborhood to educate people about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Volunteers encourage residents to vaccinate.

NOLA ready will also discuss a community vaccine event hosted by Oxner Health at the St. Mary of Angels Catholic Church in Florida.
