New Orleans — Nore will reopen as a 6,500-square-foot special event venue with culinary options offered by Mirepoix Event Catering. Owned and operated by Al Copeland Jr., the Latin-style restaurant debuted in 2019 on St. Charles Avenue in 2001, where Copeland’s other family-owned cheesecake bistro once lived. The space was temporarily closed during the pandemic.
“It’s in a great location on St. Charles Avenue in the historic Garden District,” Copeland said in a release. “Our flexible and open floor plans are suitable for all types of celebrations. It’s an all-in-one destination where you can“ eat, stay and play ”at the Coach House Hotel, which connects to the building. And as born and raised New Orleans, we know how to have a good party! “
According to Copeland, Nore offers everything from setting tables and locations to service staff, full-service bars and food. All dishes are cooked in-house. External vendors who enhance decoration, tableware, catering, etc. are welcome with approval.
