Today, November 11, 2020, Project Marilyn donated women’s hygiene products to serve low-income families and women. The Just One Project was held at the “Pop-up and Give” schools in Brinley, Bonanza, Clark, Oh, Courtney and Gin. ..
Project Marilyn provides women’s supplies to those in need with monthly bags containing tampons, pads, and hygiene wipes that last throughout the menstrual cycle. Since its inception in 2019, the nonprofit has partnered with more than 35 shelters and institutions, including Community In School, West Care, LVMPD, Care Complex, The Salvation Army, and Las Vegas Rescue Missions, and 5,000 of these bags I have donated. There are also 72,000 maxi pads.
“One in four women has menstrual poverty. Project Marilyn founder Wendishweigart supports the individuals who need it most by participating in the Just One Project. “Our hope is to help women have dignity in their physiology. Limits.
