Nashville, Tennessee — Project Love Strong hosts its annual homeless drive hoodie from noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 4th.

Nonprofits have partnered with community groups to provide all of the many resources at War Memorial Plaza on Union Street in one place.

Those who do not have a home can stop by to receive clean clothes, shoes, food, showers, haircuts and even pet supplies.

The nonprofit was started three years ago by a New York woman who felt called to help people who didn’t have a home in Music City.

She said authorities estimated that about 3,000 uncontained individuals live in Nashville.

“We are growing and it’s been three years now. This is the 12th event since 2018 and is being held in multiple states,” said Jeshiqua “J” White. “We are just trying to create a community movement of change to help vulnerable people.”
