Notre Dame requiring COVID-19 booster shots for students – Tampa, Florida

South Bend, Indiana (WRTV) —The University of Notre Dame has announced that all students who have been fully vaccinated for more than 6 months will need the COVID-19 booster vaccine.

Requirements include all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, including students conducting research or research remotely and / or virtually.

Current students will be eligible for booster vaccination from January 11th to 14th at any off-campus or university campus booster vaccination clinic.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises all fully vaccinated adults to take booster shots.

Health officials say most cases in the United States are still due to the delta mutant. However, Omicron variants have been detected in at least 17 states.
