Nueces County reported seven new COVID-19 cases and one death on Sunday.
There were a total of 20,797 cases of coronavirus. Of these, 683 are active. The state reports 4,171 cases in Nueces County.
Three of the new cases were confirmed to be positive and four could be positive. According to health district data, there were 16,046 confirmed positives and 4,751 possible positives.
Nueces County reported that a man in his 80s had died. His underlying condition included high blood pressure and diabetes. There were 427 COVID-19-related deaths in Nueces County.
There were 63 COVID-19 patients in the hospital on Sunday and 24 in the ICU. There were 2,806 hospitalizations and 20,114 recovery.
