Colorado Springs, Colorado 2021-07-23 22:47:35 –

Denver-Denver Nuggets forward JaMychal Green will reject the $ 7.6 million player option between 2021 and 22 and become an unlimited free agent, said Shamscharania of Athletic and Stadium.

Charania added that both sides are still interested in returning the Green to Mile High City.

The 31-year-old had an average of 8.1 points and 4.8 rebounds with 46.3% shots (39.9% from the 3-point range) in his first season in Denver 2020-21.

The green was primarily a Nuggets reserve, but started 5 in Denver after starguard Jamal Murray collapsed in an ACL injury at the end of the season.
