Elbert County, Georgia (WSPA)-The National Weather Service has confirmed that a heavy storm on Monday caused an EF-1 tornado in Elbert County, Georgia.
According to the NWS, the tornado began in Elberton and ended with an estimated peak wind of 105 mph.
The NWS pointed out that the warehouse along the Bowman Highway was the most severely damaged by the tornado.
