New York (WABC / CNN) – Police are looking for a man caught in a camera kicking a woman off an escalator at a Brooklyn subway station.
“I’ve fallen down the stairs before, but never on the escalator. The escalator is very painful,” said the victim.
The incident happened shortly after she got off the subway. When the man passed by, she took an escalator to the street. The victim said he should say “I’m sorry,” so the man turned around and kicked the stairs down.
“Like that, I kicked me out of my chest out of nowhere, and I rolled down the escalator, past everyone and downstairs,” she recalled.
The 32-year-old victim asked to withhold her name. She has cuts and bruises on her legs, arms and back.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect. They reported that it happened outside the Barclays Center last Thursday around 7:15 pm.
“Out of nowhere, he felt he had to kick me off the stairs. At that moment, he just kicked me, as if I had the courage to talk to him and say sorry. I felt like I needed to fly, “said the victim.
Anyone who admits a suspect will be asked to contact the NYPD.
