The incident began in the Westwood district near the intersection of Morrison Road and West Ohio Avenue, where a man was shooting a gun in the air near a playground, Thomas said.
The caller, who reported the shooting, told police that an armed man got into a dark car and ran away. Police officers found and tracked the suspect’s car, Thomas said.
