Mount Healthy, Ohio — Dunkin’Donuts employees received a lifetime surprise from one loyal customer, a furnished home.
Ebony Johnson met his customer, Susanne Burke, at Dunkin’s drive-through three years ago. Every time Burke drank coffee in the morning, the two became intimate and talked.
“I go every morning,” Burke said. “Ebony has been driving through for three years and has provided excellent customer service.”
But recently, Burke noticed that her friend wasn’t making her usual shift. She contacted Johnson and learned that her three mothers were in a difficult situation and were expelled from Mount Healthy’s home.
With the support of various organizations, Burke was able to find Johnson’s parents’ home and furniture.
“I just wanted to see if she could help improve her life and the lives of her children,” Burke said. Dunkin “
Johnson saw her furnished house for the first time on Friday.

Burke has partnered with Design to Market staging designer Jo Potvin to make sure the house is perfect for Johnson’s family.

They also received support from New Life Furniture Bank, an organization that accepts household items and makes them available to people in need for free.

Johnson’s children were as excited as their mothers.
“Very nice, very nice,” said her youngest, looking at his new room.
Johnson said she and her children could spend Merry Christmas and enjoy the rest of their vacation in a furnished home.
“I am very grateful that we are back home,” Johnson said. “I prayed,’Can I stay home before Christmas?’ And kept saying, so the Lord looked for me. “
