The parents who spoke to KOIN 6 News had a split feeling — on the one hand thanked the vaccine, but regained courage for the unknown.
Sutirtha Bhattacharya and his wife took their five-year-old son to Beaverton’s Tektronix Vaccination Clinic on Monday.
“I was very relieved,” he said. “I’m relieved that the holidays are approaching. Whenever we leave home, we are very cautious about taking him. With the vaccine, we feel confident.”
Although his family has been vaccinated and boosted, he said he was still very interested in Omicron variants.
