Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) —Wednesday, the Omaha Police Department (OPD) shared an image of the above tablets, stating that they “recently saw a large number of counterfeit tablets” contaminated with fentanyl in the Omaha Metro area.

According to the agency, tablets range in color from blue to green, with an “M” stamp on one side and a “30” stamp on the other. The tablets are “counterfeit 30MG oxycodone”.

The pill contains the very powerful synthetic drug fentanyl, which is “illegal and extremely dangerous.”

Fentanyl is similar to morphine, but 50 to 100 times more powerful.

OPD states that tablets are the cause of death from several overdose in the area, and if you or anyone you know is suffering from an overdose, call 9-1-1 immediately please.
