Wichita, Kansas (KSNW) – HumanKind Ministries Operation Holiday is soliciting donations of new or as-new children’s coats for Thursday’s Stuff the Truck event.
The event will take place at Clifton Square from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Monetary or in-kind donations are offered to attend the event. This gives you access to Santa’s photos, frozen Anna and Elsa crafts, and free hot chocolate. Cocoa etc.
Operation Holidays is the region’s largest holiday support program, serving more than 14,000 low-income men, women and children in 2020 alone. According to HumanKind, this year’s biggest needs are new or like-new children’s coats, new or new handmade blankets, peanut butter, canned fruits, and cereals.
Stuff the Truck is part of Human Kind’s Week of Giving. Tonight and Wednesday, KSN will host a telethon as part of that. Dillons Day of Giving event to be held all over the city this Saturday.
Donations of new or like-new children’s coats and winter accessories, new or new handmade blankets, and non-perishable food can be brought to the Operation Holiday Warehouse at the former Sears Auto Center in Town East Mall. -18. The warehouse is open from 9am to 6pm on weekdays, until distribution, and from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays, December 4th and 11th.
