Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) —Thursday, the Douglas County Health Department (DCHD) reported receiving 355 new positive COVID-19 tests since its last report on Tuesday. During this time, DCHD has not received a new COVID-19-related death certificate. The number of COVID-19-related deaths in Douglas County during the pandemic remains 1,134.

The Omaha Metropolitan Healthcare Union, which includes hospitals in Douglas, Sarpy, Sanders, Dodge, and Washington, Nebraska, as well as Council Bluffs and Missouri Valley, Iowa, has updated COVID-19 cases and hospital occupancy. The number of positive cases since March 2020 is currently 156,313.
