Sunday Newspaper Top Page Headlines: The clock is ticking in the Capitol.. The four paragraphs state: Avoid the state government closure starting July 1st. “
When I read that article, as a taxpayer, mischievous words came to my mind.
Why does this always seem to happen in every budget session?
Congressman, let’s start working together for those who voted for public office!

A May 6 Letter to Editor Made me look red (not because I saw a Republican, but as very angry). He mentions “Democrats, including electoral authorities who have been charged with fraud in Texas, Georgia, and Pennsylvania and know elsewhere.” I’ve followed all election stories fairly faithfully, but I don’t know of such accusations, so I’d like to ask him for more details. Now, I hope the writer knows the important difference between “accused” and “accused” (the latter includes arrests and judges and everything). But perhaps he doesn’t.
Indeed, there were many such accusations against the Democratic Party, instigated and encouraged by the former president. Accusation is easy. Just move your mouth or access social media.
“The Democratic efforts to facilitate fraud and the purchase of votes have not helped our democracy,” he continued. Stupid I, I thought Democrats were trying to make voting easier (especially during a pandemic). But I’m wondering how writers feel that Democrats can “buy” votes. That is also new to me.
