The Palestinian Authority says it has given American forensic experts a bullet that killed Al Jazeera journalist Sirene Abu Acre.
This move has taken a step towards resolving the conflict with Israel over the investigation of Israel’s death. A well-known veteran correspondent in the Arab world, Abu Acre, was hit deadly on the west bank under occupation while reporting an Israeli attack on May 11. Palestinians say she was killed in an Israeli fire, along with her colleague who was with her. Israel says its troops were fighting Palestinian militants, and it is unknown who fired the deadly ammunition.
It says that the bullet must be inspected to understand what happened.
