Panama City, FL – Carjacking suspect caught after six-day search

WALTON COUNTY, FL (WMBB– Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies confirmed on Monday that they captured a carjacking suspect who allegedly led MPs in a high-speed chase and disappeared in the woods after crashing a vehicle.

Willie robertson was wanted by the Panama City Beach Police Department for fleeing and evading and is wanted by Tennessee authorities in connection with an armed robbery.

The incident began with a car theft in Tennessee, lawmakers said.

Police officers in Panama City Beach attempted to arrest them on Wednesday after noticing they were driving a stolen vehicle, but they continued to drive.

This led to a high-speed chase in Walton County, where the driver crashed into the car in an attempt to avoid the spike bands deployed by Walton MPs.

A passenger, Makiya London, was captured and arrested but Robertson escaped. London, 19, is charged with non-violent obstruction and possession of a controlled substance.
