CHIPLEY, Fla. (WMBB) – Students, faculty and staff at Chipley High School will be holding their annual Black History Month program on February 22, starting at 9 a.m.

The program will be broadcast live via the Washington County School District Facebook Page, and feature poems, songs and a guest speaker.

Principal Alicia Clemmons said schools in the district would go online at 9 a.m. to watch the program, and anyone in the Panhandle could watch simultaneously to join them in celebrating History Month. blacks.

The Florida Panhandle Technical College and the Washington County School District are working together to broadcast the program from the school board building, and Superintendent Joseph Taylor said a link to watch would also be available after the program.
