Panama City, FL – ‘Cops ‘n Kids’ toy drive underway in Panama City Beach

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Florida (WMBB) – The Panama City Beach Police Department’s “Cops’ n Kids” toy drive is underway in Panama City Beach to help families in need this holiday season.

Panama City Beach Police Department Captain John Deegins said they are teaming up with Florida Water Sports and collecting new, unwrapped toys until Saturday, December 4.

Donations can be dropped off at Walmart on Front Beach Road and Walmart in Pier Park between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Collections end at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 4.

Then on Saturday December 10 from 5 pm to 8 pm there will be a free “Christmas with the Cops” event at the Panama City Beach Police Department. Captain Deegins said the event is open to everyone and includes an appearance by Captain Claus, s’mores with the firefighters, a movie, freebies, popcorn, hot chocolate and even snow!
