Panama City, FL –
WALTON COUNTY Florida (WMBB) – A local business has been nationally recognized for bringing a new way of camping called “Glamping” to Walton County.
Fancy Camps manager Joshua Wood says glamping is a step up from regular camping. Each tent is equipped with a queen-size bed, electricity and an air conditioning unit. And the five-year-old company recently moved to Topsail Hill State Park.
Fancy Camps has already won the USA Today award for top nationwide glamping spots, which Wood said was great news for this small business.
“We make the comforts of home part of your camping experience,” said Wood. “So we can dress her up with fresh flowers, extra pillows and blankets and all those things that make glamping, a lot glamping. It’s comfortable. It’s glamorous to camp together.
Wood said you can also rent Fancy Camps for parties or backyard events where you want with electricity. To book a glamping day, visit their website.
