Panama City, FL –
PANAMA CITY, Florida (WMBB) – History Class Brewing Company chooses an organization to donate to each month. They call it “pouring love”.
History class looked a lot more like science class this Sunday.
The Science and Discovery Center in Northwest Florida has been chosen as the recipient of this month’s giveaway, which means it will receive 25 cents on every beer sold throughout the month of July.
Today, the family science center has introduced science to history classes.
Reptiles, exploding volcanoes and solar cookers are just a few of the experiences the kids got to enjoy.
Meanwhile, mom and dad were able to sit down with a glass of locally brewed beer.
“It used to be the Junior Museum, now it’s the Science and Discovery Center, and they’re reopened. A lot of people don’t realize they’re open again, so we’re doing our part to let people know they’re open for business, ”said Eric Darnell, Marketing Director of History Class Brewing Company. “They do science every day, and anyone can take their family there and have a good time. The experiences here today are just a small sample of all the cool stuff they have.
The activities all ended at lunchtime, but you can still donate to the Discovery and Science Center by having a brew from the history class anytime this month.
