Panama City, FL –
PANAMA CITY, Florida (WMBB) – A local brewery brought the community together for a day of fun.
History Class Brewing Company was turned into a carnival for their one-year anniversary on Sunday.
The family event supported the local charity Lucky Puppy Rescue and featured carnival games, live music, cotton candy and more.
Event coordinator Fontella Thompson said the community had been so supportive after it opened amid the pandemic and wanted to celebrate its first anniversary by giving back to a local charity that meant so much to them.
“We were finally able to open our doors last June and this whole community has been awesome, pouring love directly into what we do,” said Thompson. “So we try to give love back to local charities and we love this city. We love everyone here.
They sold rolls of tickets to the carnival games for $ 10 and all the proceeds went to Lucky Puppy Rescue.
The history class opened last June and they said they were grateful for the support of communities during the challenge of the pandemic.
