Bay left a handwritten note stating that he and Marotto were involved in a “violent” traffic accident on January 8 and that Marotto had become “groggy”.

A year later, a suspect in the massive Mussett Bayou fire returns to court

The note states that when they got home, she had blue lips and was not responding. The note also read, “I know what I did was wrong and horrible, but I really didn’t want her to leave,” court records said.

Bay was found and arrested on February 27 in Little Rock Arkansas on an OCSO warrant for tampering with physical evidence.

Bay received an additional warrant for second degree murder on Wednesday.
