Panama City, FL –
As the information suggests, a vaccine for the coronavirus is coming very soon.
Rep. Neal Dunn, R-Panama City, said this week he was so sure of his safety that he would be one of the first to take it.
“If giving me a vaccine gives people confidence that I have confidence in the vaccine, I think it’s really worth it,” Dunn said. “I’m happy to do it. … We don’t just say it’s safe, we think it’s safe.
Dunn contracted the virus in April. However, he will still take the vaccine in the hopes of encouraging others about its safety.
One thing America can’t do is shut down again, despite a massive increase in coronavirus cases across the country, ”Dunn said.
“I think you need to focus, quarantine the people at risk, the sick people, and let the rest work,” Dunn said. “This idea of locking down the entire economy as a response, we will never be able to do it again. We have caused so many billions of dollars in damage that our grandchildren will pay for it all their lives. ”
Once the coronavirus is defeated, the next problem that needs to be addressed is the economy, Dunn said.
“We have to make the care package the next care package for victims,” he said. “We worked on the fact that President (Nancy) Pelosi refused us 39 times.”
If Republicans and Democrats can strike a deal, help could come soon.
“We could really do a lot with this very, very quickly, like we did the first time around. we could put out a lot of money to help people in a really useful way, ”Dunn said.
The two sides must work together, he added.
“I don’t think they wanted to do anything before the election,” Dunn said. “Now the election is all about what you say as we come together and agree on something the American people need.
