Posted: Update:

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – The monoclonal antibody treatment site set up at the Bay County Fairgrounds on 15th Street will close on December 4.

It was one of the many sites across Florida, supported by the Florida Department of Health, aimed at helping people infected with COVID-19 recover from the disease faster.

Although the site is shutting down, officials said in a press release that health ministry officials have worked with community partners to ensure the health sector is equipped to deliver the antibody treatment.

Officials said the department will continue to allocate doses of monoclonal antibodies to healthcare providers and ensure stock levels meet county demand.
