Panama City, FL –
PANAMA CITY, Florida WEATHER (WMBB) – Conditions over the next few days will tend to be wetter than our daily showers and storms.
However, although there are many chances of rain, no washout days are expected.
The added humidity will help lower temperatures for our afternoons, with most people experiencing afternoon highs in the mid-80s to high-90s.
The pattern will require a slight chance of showers and storms for the morning hours along the coast. The afternoon rains will spread mostly inland ranging from 50-70% at times.
This wetter pattern is expected more or less through Friday, potentially drier conditions could continue into next weekend.
In the tropics, the National Hurricane Center is tracking a wave off the West African coast that could develop tropical storm characteristics over the next 5 days.
Currently, the disturbance only has a 40% chance of forming within the next 5 days and a 0% chance within the next 2 days.
Updates coming later this week.
