Colorado Springs — A second person died after a crash on Briargate Parkway and Chapel Hills Drive in April.

Police officers at the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to an accident involving a motorcycle and a Jeep Gladiator after 10 pm on April 26. Upon arrival of the police, he found a bystander taking life-saving measures for the motorcycle driver. A female motorcycle passenger was also at a life-threatening and injured intersection.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital, where the driver was later identified as 25-year-old Chad Reed, who died of his injury and the passengers remained in danger.

Crash investigations revealed that the Jeep Gladiator was moving west on Briargate Parkway and attempted to turn left on Chapel Hills Drive south. While turning left, a motorcycle traveling east on the Briargate Parkway entered the intersection and collided with the gladiator.

On May 5, a female motorcycle passenger died after being injured in a crash. Coroner in El Paso County has identified her as 27-year-old Desara Emash Hill.

Speed ​​and alcohol are considered factors in this study.
