A Rhode Island woman fighting breast cancer makes 12 friends for the biggest match in town after the New England Patriots donate 12 tickets to this Sunday’s match between Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers I’m collecting.
Jeanne Cunha, 59, is fighting her second illness. His son, David Anthony, wanted to give him a ticket for a big game. He shaved his head on Instagram to raise money, and an anonymous donor gave him two tickets.
And when David contacted the team, they offered the pair a field tour and donated 12 tickets.
“She symbolizes grit, patience and resilience,” said Andre Tippett, Hall of Fame linebacker, director of the team’s community.
And Cunha cheers for the home team while wearing Tom Brady’s jersey.
“I support the Patriots,” said Cunha. “It’s not what I want to see [Brady] I want to see the Patriots win, losing. “
