The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm on Saturday and will be closed unless booked by 5 pm on Friday. The park ranger is in the shelter by 8 am daily. Evacuation shelter employees do not answer the phone in the morning as all staff are actually doing the morning operations. The shelter strongly recommends that you leave your contact information in a voice email and will contact the caller as soon as possible. In case of an emergency, contact the Beaufort County Sheriff and call the Park Ranger.
The shelter is located at 3931 US Highway 264 East in Washington. The dog-friendly girl, and the big and beautiful Rain, are listed as a one-year-old blue breathy mix. She is affectionate and shy, but warms up as soon as she pays attention. She does her best with her owner. Owners do a lot of exercise in the area surrounded by strings and fences and participate in going out. Rain, ID number 0793, is available at the shelter.
This big boy has already been castrated and is okay to go. Snickers, an American Shorthair cat with tongue, brown and black tabby cats and white markings, is handsome and laid back. At the age of two, he loves to get attention, but he also likes his personal space and does his best in a quiet home. There he will be a great addition. Snickers, ID number 0836, is available in the shelter.
