Peyton Manning still seems to have some harsh feelings about the Patriots.
Detroit on ESPN2-At Manning Cast on Monday night in the Green Bay game, Patriots went to New England, perhaps jokingly, because he was afraid that the Patriots would have a “hot mic” next to the locker. He said he was always refraining from facing him.
“Every time I played against New England, I took a shower and talked to the receiver,” Peyton said. “Don’t talk about the play next to the locker as we know there is a bug. I know it has a hot mic there. We’re taking a shower … It’s very strange that seven guys are taking a shower, but take all precautions. ”
Peyton suggested that the Packers were listening to a conversation between him and the Eli brothers about Monday’s Green Bay game plan.
“I feel like the packers were listening to Eri, you and I, the conversation we had on Friday. [they] Peyton said after Green Bay established a run early on.
“I think our conversation was buggy. It was like a patriot at the time,” Peyton added.
For the record, Peyton was 6-13 in his career against New England.
