Pittsburgh (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh City Council has resolved to amend the city’s eviction moratorium.
Voting provided the landlord with “clarification” and made it enforceable.
This change will clarify who can be evacuated and reduce fines for landlords who violate the law.
This change will reduce the fine from $ 10,000 to $ 1,000.
The law still prohibits landlords from eviction of tenants who are unable to pay rent due to pandemic-related unemployment.
