Clinton, Massachusetts. (WHDH)-Clinton’s eighth grade spent his own Friday Nightlight moment during a match against Lunenburg as the team gathered to help make his dream come true.

According to her mother, Tammy, Kam Gomes, 13, lives with autism and has been begging to play soccer since she saw her brothers on the field. So she reached out to see if he could get the chance to take the field.

“Last year or so he said,’Can you email my coach?’ And I did, and they said they would make it happen,” Tammy said. ..

On Friday, Kam wore his brother’s old number and had the opportunity to rush the touchdown. The team was flocking to congratulate him in the end zone.

“That’s a dream, isn’t it? What kind of mom can ask for more?” Tammy said.
