Clayton County, Georgia (CBS46)-A 12-year-old child with autism died and his caretaker was seriously injured after a car crash in Clayton County on Friday morning.

At around 9:47 am, the Clayton County Police Department responded to 3000 blocks on Noah’s Ark Road in Jonesboro after reports of multiple people colliding with a vehicle.

When police arrived at the scene, they learned that a 12-year-old child had hit the road. The child caretaker tried to save the child, but failed.

Police reported that the vehicle had attacked the child and caretaker. The child was later sentenced to death in the hospital. The caretaker was taken to a local hospital and reported in serious condition.
