Oklahoma City () – Investigators have confirmed that the search for Amber Alert has come to a deadly end.

Officials say Milburn dropped the child with a relative who was unaware that the child had been kidnapped.

A few hours later, the child was dropped into a detention center near the Oklahoma / Texas border in Love County.

At around 10:40 am, Milburn stole a pickup truck from a company near SW119th and May Ave, according to investigators. The truck was equipped with a GPS tracking device, so employees moved to the 2500 block of SW 95th St.

Authorities say Milburn appeared from behind a tree and fired at a man as employees approached the truck.

An employee identified as 34-year-old Stephen Christopher Husky was shot. Husky was able to drive down the street before hitting a tree and getting injured and dying in the 2400 block of SW 95th St.

Investigators say Milburn abandoned the vehicle near the 104th southwest and May after leaving the site of the stolen truck.

At around 11:30 am, officials say Milburn was struck by a gun and robbed the boy, stealing his Toyota Avalon. He abandoned the vehicle near SW12 2nd and May Ave.

Police spent hours searching for Milburn, but he was not found.

However, officials have been informed that Milburn may be driving a silver Toyota Prius in southwestern Oklahoma City.

After 4 am on Wednesday, police officers from the Oklahoma City Police found a silver Prius near the 104th southwest and May.

The suspect led an officer in a chase across southwestern Oklahoma City before the chase ended near Couch and Lee in downtown Oklahoma City.

At that point, the suspect got out of the car and engaged in a shootout with the police.

Milburn was shot dead and Oklahoma City policeman Zack Barbie was shot dead. The bullet that hit Barbie was stopped by his bulletproof vest.

“One of our police officers was shot. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released from a life-threatening injury,” said Captain Dan Stewart of the Oklahoma City Police Department. It was.
