Clearwater, Florida (CW44 News At 10) – Clearwater police traffic murder investigators are seeking the help of the general public to find a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday, June 9.

Just before 2am, Toyota Sienna in 2010 headed east on Gulf to Bay Boulevard and attacked a man on a skateboard just east of Keane Road, officials said. The skateboarder, also heading east in the lane, was taken to Morton Factory Hospital, where he died.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, and witnesses said the driver never stepped on the brakes. The damaged vehicle was found shortly after the accident was abandoned at 2100 blocks on Cleveland Street.

The skateboarder was identified as Largo’s Tyler Delemo, 26 years old.
