Police: Decatur man charged with murder after fatal gas station shooting | News – Atlanta, Georgia

Stone Mountain, Georgia (CBS46)-After a long investigation, authorities arrested a man in Decatur in connection with the murder in DeKalb County.

On Wednesday, the fugitive unit at the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office was located on the 21-year-old Altavelius Rodriquze Wheeler on the northeastern boulevard of Atlanta. After that, the police arrested Wheeler without incident.

On April 26, Wheeler was seen leaning out of a car window and shooting a pistol while passing through a gas station on Redan Road, according to investigators. Victim Paul Terek Dock, who was near a gas station, was shot many times, resulting in his death, police reported.

Authorities say no reason for the shooting was given. Wheeler was transferred to DeKalb County Prison, where he was charged with malicious murder.
