Denver — An old man says he is afraid to live in his own home after being beaten outside of Denver’s apartment.

David Gunn, 71, said the incident took place on Tuesday night outside his apartment at the Quigg Newton Holmes Complex in the Denver Housing Department.

“It scared me,” Gunn said. “I’m scared to live there anymore”

Cancer has lived in this complex for over three years. Recently, he decided to talk to property management after being hit by a noisy party.
