Police: Man steals car from the dealership during a test drive | News – Atlanta, Georgia

GWINNETT COUNTY (CBS46) –Gwinnett County police are looking for a man suspected of stealing a car during a test drive. The reported theft occurred shortly before 2:00 pm on May 27.

According to a police spokesman, police officers responded to a vehicle theft call on a Zams used car in the 3300 block of the Stone Mountain Highway.

Dealer employees told executives that a man had entered the business and demanded a test drive of the 2011 Ford Crown Victoria. When the salesman gave the man the car key, the unidentified man said he would drive the car to the street. However, police said the man left the car and did not return to the dealer.

The vehicle had no tags or registrations.

Police said the suspect was a black man with dreadlocks from 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches with a gap between his front teeth.

Anyone who knows the identity of a man will be asked to call the crime stopper (404-577-TIPS (8477)).
