Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) — A police detective in Metro Nashville is looking for a 17-year-old boy in connection with a deadly shooting in 2019.
According to police, 18-year-old Stephen Shelton was left behind after being shot at the door of Nashville General Hospital on November 2, 2019. Shelton died of his injury.
The detective nominated the Rico ransom, claiming that one of the two fired on the SUV Shelton was a passenger at Cumberland View Apartments on 25th Avenue North. They obtained a juvenile court arrest order accusing him of a deadly shooting at Shelton.
Anyone who saw the ransom was asked to contact the crime stopper at 615-742-7463. Callers to crime stoppers remain anonymous and can qualify for cash rewards.
17-year-old Zyshawn Lewis was also charged in this case Who was the first suspect identified in the shooting? Lewis was arrested a few days after the shooting and refused to speak to the detective. He was charged with criminal murder.
