Police officers say they were taken to Discovery Bay’s house on Saturday, where they found the body of 64-year-old Michael Iriff.

“He helped people a little too much,” said Michael’s sister Joan Iriff.

Joan claims that her brother may have taken Meeks and her 4-year-old child to keep them safe, but he eventually died.

“I think he was trying to help her. He probably wasn’t afraid of people as he should be,” said Joan Iriff.

Police have pointed out 26-year-old Darion Williams, the father of Meeks’ child, not only in the murder of Irif, but also in another shooting.

Terrell Johnson witnessed sAim for Antioch Auto Center Drive.. He says the first responder was calling regularly when the shot rang.

“I saw the car come back and shoot like this. There were police and fire trucks, they were shot down several times, made a U-turn and shot again,” Johnson said. “The bullets rang and everyone froze.”

A 51-year-old man in the rescue team and a 38-year-old man in the firefighters suffered from what police said was a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police said police cars and ambulances were also shot.

Following the shooting, the troops chased Williams to Pittsburgh on Highway 4, and then to Alameda County, police said. The car chase then returned to Contra Costa County, ending in Richmond when Williams bumped into a parked car. Williams tried to escape after the crash, but was arrested shortly after, police said. The gun was also on the scene.

After Williams’ arrest, Antioch police requested that the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office conduct a welfare check at Discovery Bay’s home in Newport Court. Once inside, lawmakers discovered that Iriff had been shot dead.

According to officials, Williams was detained in Martinez Detention Center on ten charges of attempted murder and attempted murder. He is detained on bail of $ 11 million.

Police are now searching for a common thread in a cross-county criminal case committed by a 26-year-old Stockton resident.

Police are still looking for Kimberly Meeks and her son. They say the two were last seen on an Audi SUV.
