Forest Park, Georgia (CBS46)-Clayton County Police are looking for a semi-truck driver who escaped from the scene after beating a vehicle and two pedestrians on the highway.
According to Clayton County Police, the accident occurred on Thursday just before 9 pm on the I-75 northbound near the I-285 West Ramp near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
A police spokesperson said the HERO unit stopped behind two tractor trailers on the shoulders. HERO drivers were in the process of assisting drivers on the highway. After a while, a semi-truck that was about to pass collided with a vehicle with a disability and two people who got off the vehicle on the highway.
The semi-truck driver did not stop in the accident and witnesses could not get the driver’s explanation.
One of the victims was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
