Police: Woman arrested, claims she ‘accidentally’ shot husband to death during fight | News – Atlanta, Georgia

Clayton County, Georgia (CBS46)-Police said a Jonesboro woman was imprisoned in jail after accidentally shooting her husband during a quarrel and charged with murder and many other charges.

Clayton County Police were summoned early Thursday morning to investigate a shooting incident in a house on River Road.

Suspect Ronda Tucker, 35, told the dispatcher that he had quarreled with her husband, Brian Tucker, 35, and accidentally shot him.

When police arrived at the scene, they found Tucker’s husband dead in the master bedroom. During the investigation, Tucker told police officers that he had a quarrel with his husband before it developed into a quarrel. He added that he shot.

Tucker was arrested and charged with malicious murder, weighted assault, and possession of weapons in the process of committing a crime.
