Police: Woman stabbed family member, then crashed car into utility pole in Hartsville – Florence, South Carolina

Hartsville, South Carolina (WBTW) — According to Hartsville police, a woman was stabbed multiple times before the suspect crashed her car into a utility pole.

According to Lieutenant Mark Blair of Hartsville Police, the stab occurred on Friday at 11:00 am on 600 blocks on Barefoot Street in Hartsville. Blair said two related women were involved in the stab.

After stabbing the victim, Blair said the suspect boarded the Chevrolet and smashed it into a utility pole one block away. It wasn’t immediately clear if someone had a power outage due to the crash.

The two women were taken to the hospital.

Blair said prosecution was expected.
