Poor conditions limit TriMet to minimal operations – Portland, Oregon

Portland, Oregon (KOIN) — Continuously dangerous weather conditions TriMet was forced to cancel most routes and switch to various MAX line shuttle buses.

The following changes are in effect until the terms are approved.

MAX

– –MAX orange / yellow The route is operated by shuttle bus
– –MAX green line Service was interrupted due to winter weather. A shuttle bus that runs between Gateway TC and Krakamas Town Center TC. Board MAX Blue Line for service between Rose Quarter TC and Gateway TC. To get to PSU, take the MAX Yellow Line shuttle bus in the Rose Quarter
– –MAX red line Service was interrupted due to winter weather. Shuttle bus from gateway TC to PDX.Board MAX Blue Line for service between Rose Quarter TC and Gateway TC
– –Max blue line It operates between the Hatfield Government Center and Goose Hollow, The Rose Quarter and Cleveland Avenue.Shuttle bus between Goose Hollow and Rose Quarter

-TriMet will start operating in the morning on the 14 busiest bus routes. However, due to dangerous road conditions, buses may not be able to operate on some sections of these routes. All buses are chained and cannot travel faster than 25 mph. The bus cannot be pulled to the curb and the rider must carefully step into the street to board.

-LIFT service is running at a low level. Customers of this on-demand service for the elderly and disabled will be warned if the ride is cancelled.

-Portland Streetcar has been closed all day on Sunday.
