Corpus Christi, Texas — The Port of Corpus Christi has announced a new partnership they say will reduce coastal bend emissions.
Minato has signed a memorandum of understanding with Stabilis Solutions. And the plan is to reduce the use of diesel and use more liquefied natural gas that Stabilis brings to the table.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the port will create dock access for ships to enter, refuel with liquefied natural gas, and then return to voyage.
The port says the move not only seems to keep the air reach intact, but also wants to be interested in other ships compatible with liquefied natural gas to stop by Corpus Christi. ..
We’ll take a closer look at what this means for Corpus Christi at the 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm shows, including a hearing from Sean Strawbridge, CEP of Corpus Christi.
