Adam Tindallshricht, Director of Port Mill Walkie, was recently appointed to the National Advisory Board for Shipping Systems by US Secretary of Transportation Pete Butigeg.

Through the Maritime Administration, MTSNAC advises secretaries on how to identify and address obstacles that impede the effective use of sea shipping. MTSNAC advises secretaries on policies to enable the US maritime transport system to respond to continued trade growth, including commercial transport companies, industry associations, state and local government agencies, labor organizations, academics and It is made up of environmental group leaders.

Tindall-Schlicht will serve MTSNAC during the implementation of infrastructure investment and employment legislation when supply chain response and product movement to the market are more important than ever.

In addition to this new role, Tindall-Schlicht is a member of the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and the Great Lakes Conservation Fund. Both were appointed by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.

MTSNAC will ultimately have 22 members from public and private agencies, US sea shipping, integration with other segments of the transportation system, and US merchant ships.
